Excursions and Incursions

During the year children at St Matthew's are given opportunities to participate in a variety of educational activities either at school or at other venues. The cost of these activities is deducted from the Co-curricula Levy which is included in the School Fees. Educational excursions are regarded as an integral part of the learning process; therefore, all children are expected to participate.

Children in Years 5 and 6 participate in a camp experience each year. The cost of this camp is added to the School Fees.

Students also attend Incursions at the school, for example visiting performers and specialist displays/presentations.

Notes explaining all excursion and incursion details including a detachable permission note are sent home. The completed permission form must be returned to school before the excursion or incursion takes place.
