The Athletics Carnival helps build school community, encourages students to participate in various track and field events, and teaches essential skills about winning, losing and supporting one another. 

The students will be transported by bus, and parents and carers are welcome to attend. 

Students will need to wear and bring the following items:

• Sports uniform and/or clothing in house colours 
• Warm jackets in case of cold weather
• Runners/ sneakers
• Drink bottle (water taps are available for refilling bottles)
• A hat that protects from the sun. Beanies would not be appropriate as students will be in the sun most of the day. 
• Sunscreen. The school will also provide sunscreen and encourage students to reapply regularly. 
• Morning tea and lunch. The canteen will not be available on the day. 

This is a compulsory event. Supervision at school will not be available for students who do not attend the Athletics Carnival.
