Dear Parents and Carers,
Hello from the other side! We hope you are well and enjoying the sunshine on this first day of spring.
As you know, believe it or not, Sunday is Father’s Day! This week as a school we would normally be helping the children create cards and bags to carry home a special present for Dad, but, of course, due to these crazy times we can no longer do this. HOWEVER we are not going to let lock down stop us from acknowledging and celebrating the wonderful men in our lives.
We invite you to email us a photo of our St Matthew’s children with their fathers and male role models. These photos will be collated, compiled and presented to the community via our website and Facebook. We understand that not all families feel comfortable placing their images online or on social media, so please only send through a photo if you are happy for these platforms to be used.
All photos need to be sent to Mrs Thomas via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) NO LATER than MIDDAY, FRIDAY 3rd SEPTEMBER.
We thank all families for your continued support in not only this whole school initiative but also across all areas of school life as we face these unprecedented times.
Have a wonderful day.
